The newly expanded Anaheim Convention Center increased in size by 40% to 1.6 million square feet with approximately 815,000 GSF of prime exhibit space and new meeting and ballroom space totaling 130,000 square feet. Additionally, a dramatic 200,000 GSF, 1,200 foot long lobby and registration area have been added, along with a dramatic new entrance rotunda. Improvements began in mid 1997, and were completed by December, 2000.

The center's schedule of events, averaging over 1,300 per year, includes national conventions, conferences, corporate meetings, trade shows and public events such as concerts, recreation, boat and home and garden shows.
