Our Commitment to Cleanliness

Here at Candy Cane Inn, we are dedicated to protecting your health and safety.

We have always been very careful to follow meticulous cleaning and sanitizing procedures to safeguard our guest’s comfort, safety, and well-being while staying at our property. Now, with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic we have implemented new cleaning and sanitizing measures that go above and beyond the recommendations set forth by State and Local Governments. We take these measures to assure you that your health is of the utmost importance to everyone here at The Candy Cane Inn.

Here is a summary of our current cleaning and sanitizing policies. This is not an exhaustive listing but it does detail much about the process and procedures we follow to ensure every suite is thoroughly sterilized after each guest checks out as well as activities that enhance the safety of guests throughout their stay.

*Our staff undergo daily temperature checks and wear facemasks for your safety.

*We have reduced the number of rooms our housekeepers clean per shift to ensure they spend adequate time cleaning and sanitizing our guest rooms.

*Replace all bed linens and pillowcases after every guest. Guests staying more than 3 days will also have their linen and pillowcases changed during their stay.

*Clean and sanitize all cups (whether used or not) in a high temp commercial dishwasher after every guest.

*Replace every washcloth, bath, and hand towel (whether used or not) after every guest

*Disinfect every touch-surface in the room including handles, keycards, door knobs, light switches, faucets, tables, desks, buttons, hair dryer, coffee machine, microwave, fridge, iron and remote controls after every guest.

*Disinfect bathtubs, sinks, toilets, and water faucets after every guest

*Our premium toiletries are individually packaged in eco-friendly materials and will be replaced after every guest.

*In room coffee, tea, condiments, and coffee cups are individually wrapped for your safety.

*Provide hand sanitizer in public areas

*Routinely disinfect every touch-surface in common areas

*Express checkout (leave keys in room and we will email receipt)

*Pre-packaged breakfast items with limited capacity

*Enact social distancing measures in our shuttle to and from the parks which will increase wait times.
